R08071C5 Journey Update

Just a quick update, I did not continue learning robotic hacking because when I’m working on stuff like Topic Injection I just run stuff from what I google or asked on AI which I don’t find interesting and I don’t seem to learn or fully understand why it worked that way. So now I have decided that I need to get the foundation first so I asked Claude again to build a curriculum for me that will give me the foundation to learn robotics engineering so that I will fully understand it before I decide on hacking or breaking it.

In this image, you could see what are the section of the curriculum Claude provided to me. This may look a lot but I don’t mind since I really want to be good in building robots not just breaking them. The curriculum provided by Claude also includes a timeline on how long it will take for me to learn this.

You can see in this image that it would take me roughly 20 months to finish this curriculum. I’m in my early 30s so 2 years of this seems too long and I’m not getting any younger to achieve my goal but I just feel like this is something that I really want to do and wanted to achieve so I’m willing to be good at this. So imagine this, I’ve built my whole career in offensive security, 7 years of doing that and now I’ve felt that Robotics is something I really want to get into.

An interesting fact about me is that Mr. Robot got me into cybersecurity, now I find it funny that I am now interested also in “Robot” which shows that my career was really built around Mr. Robot.

Anyways, I’ve already started the curriculum and have not posted any update here because I don’t know how will I write an article about it. Instead, I create a youtube channel to post my quick robotics journey update there, mostly, it is a youtube shorts. So it will be a quick progress update since mainly that is the purpose of this blog but an update of what I am doing is something I don’t feel the need to create an article about. A youtube short would be better for those stuff and in Robotics, building or breaking, a video would be great to show that it works so that made me fully decide to create a channel. For now, just a quick update.

So far, this is my progress, I’m working on Edouard Renard ROS2 course at the moment which is included in the curriculum provided by Claude. I’m learning a lot and I’m enjoying this one since now I understand how to create Node and Topic with Publisher and Subscriber. I still have a long way to go but I never felt this excitement to learn and be good at something for a long time.

For my youtube channel, I will be linking it in my about me section. So all my progress will be put there. I’ll still be updating this website though to keep it active but for quick update, a youtube video would be better.
